By the way, do you know where our common Kiwi accent originates from? Well,  here are a couple of interesting (?) facts;

• The common Kiwi accent was formed with the arrival of British immigrants around 1850.
• They brought with them their regional dialects and spread these dialects all over New Zealand when transport improved
• The future of our common Kiwi accent will continue to change through the arrival of more immigrants from all over the world.
